The Broadway Diva: Kristin Chenoweth
(aka: The Cheno.)
Kristin Chenoweth, a pint sized firecracker hailing from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, with a soaring voice. She was professionally trained in Opera, and won a Tony for her role in the 1999 Revival of "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown," playing Charlie Brown's kid sister. She rose to real fame by being the original Glinda in Stephen Shwartz musical adaptation of "Wicked." She's released three albums, an album of old show tunes, a religious album, and a Christmas album. Cheno can currently be seen weekly on ABC's "Pushing Daisies" playing the role of infatuated Pie Hole waitress Olive Snook. Some Performances by the Cheno(all live): Kristin's Last Popular Performance on WICKED 1999 Tony Performance of "New Philosophy" from the revival of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown Taylor, the Latte Boy on David Letterman The Girl in 14G with the Boston Pops Orchestra "A Spoon Full of Sugar" from the Kennedy Center's honoring of Julie Andrews I'm surprised there's no Cheno thread here =O... I can't wait to get her Christmas album, it just came out =D

She's adorable and will always be my favorite Glinda. I love seeing her in small, cute roles in movies lately too. I'd love to see her do the lead role in a movie at some point.

^She's, supposedly, going to play Dusty Springfield in a film about that singer's life, and she's playing Rapunzel in Disney's upcoming adaptation of it
