Qt Mashi: Yeah, the lyrics are pretty short, but if you listen to the song (the Megaupload one) you'll understand how they work. It's the music that has more precedence over just lyrics. Nagase's written a few songs for TOKIO, but this is the only one of his songs that he was allowed to write that deals with love, which is why I think it's for Ayu. (Also if you look at some of Ayu's lyrics, this song just ... matches up with hers. Like, "Honey" for example.)
TOKIO has a lot of love songs, but it wasn't until their last album that they were really allowed to take a larger role in songwriting and stuff. In the past, the most they were allowed to do was rearrange stuff and maybe the occasional song, but nothing major.
