I wondered about the "away", too. Well "tokoro" could be an option. (Like in "ever free".)

Well, in some cases there's no right or wrong, I think. "Owaranai kanashimi" would be right, as would be "Eien no kanashimi".
I tried to stay true to the English that's why I added "watashi no" and "-TACHI". I feel both of them to be rather necessary, because "namae wa ONNA" could mean "my name's WOMAN", "our name's WOMEN" etc.
