Actually, the melody of the last line of the chorus reminded me of TO BE. (dont remember what the melody is though)

What's mixi? I was thinking that this new song might be same as JEWEL was last year Makes sense. But it might be a bit rushed for an album so soon?

It's a japanese website, something like myspace ^_^

Well a new album on 01.01 would be hot!
And yeah the new ballad will be the lead song of the new album! As its what I understood from what he said.
It's wierd though ayu doesn't release at least 3 singles before an album...
and I don't think it will be a mini-album at all.
