It means that ayu made the words herself... I looked up 造語 (zougo) in the dictionary,
And it means in english "coined."
So there's no actual words or phrase like that in japanese so it's hard to make a connection from the english one to japanese one.
I dont know that song at all... I hated vogue, so I didnt listen to that single..
Ever free is that one on the single, right?
So maybe it is about forever sleep or so... I dont know...
Just the title doesn't give such impression. LOL sorry!!

If I'm not mistaken, the word for "canary" in japanese doesn't come from english ^^ I think it was german... japanese pronounciation of the german word for "canary"

Or maybe it was some other language, but I think it was german :|

About "kanariya".

In the lyrics Ayu sings

The canaries were stifling their voices

So, I always assumed it was about the bird "canarie" (because there are also birds shown in the PV) but that Ayu changed the title from "canarie" into "kanariya". or something like that.

I could be wrong though.
