Ooo, looking at old stuff, it looks like the DOME TOUR 2001 HISTORY BOOK was published by the same people as well as done by the same interviewer/writer [Mihoyo Fujii]..

Looks like this is probably going to be just like it. Ooo~

Seems to be an attempt to milk her 10th anniversary even after it has ended... I don't like that.

To be honest I never liked her tour photobooks. They're a cheap way to release a photobook which isn't really one. I've been waiting for ages for a real photobook like Uraayu or MY STORY, but instead avex would release offshots or concert photos. And the DVD seems like they filmed it for the actual DVD and then decided it was easier to milk more money by making them two separate releases.

yeah I agree with what you said in this statement

thank goodness I'm not that stupid to shell out that kinda amount for this , I rather use the $ on something else

Yeah I won't either...

I think I'll just wait for someone to take photos/scan the photobook and upload the dvd.

i dont think it over priced. its extremly big coloured book, 160 pages of images plus DVD. i think the price is very reasonable.

@marekcarey: Well, in a way, the content makes up for the price. However when you consider that last year they included the special footage/documentary in the DVD... It feels like they divided it in two and decided to make more money off from it.

well, kino might have it. they used to have this 'Koda Kumi Photo Essay' bok before and the first press comes with a dvd, i saw it in the browsing copy(they forgot to take out)

Yeah but the AT08 DVD already has like 3 discs of other worthy content, so they had to release the documentary somehow. I don't think the price is that unreasonable to be honest....

I know the American dollar is down ($1 = 89 yen right now) so 5650 yen turns into $63.. with shipping from HMV only about $76 or so... I make more than that a week, so I'm getting it xD;

I don't have a scanner or anything.... I could take photos but they wouldn't be that good....

Somehow it feels like they're spreading them in 3 discs though to sell more. AT07 was in 2 discs and it pretty much had everything so personally I still think they're milking it for all its' worth.

However, I don't really mind so much. In the end, this is an extra for those fans who are willing to spend more money. And somehow if they are doing these extra stuff it means there is the request for more Ayu stuff. Which is a good sign.

I don't think it's safe to jump to the conclusion that the DVD has a tour documentary on it.. I mean, there really isn't anything that points to that. It'll be interesting if they stick something like that on it, but it's probable it could just be a video-version of the interview they had for the book..

I hope so.. I would really love to have that book,
but it's not really cheap, so I don't know if I'll get it right away.. an extra dvd is always nice though ^^

I wish she'd do a regular Photobook again... minus the mouth acting
