Taiwan press's awesome imo . avex Taiwan doesn't go stingy on the quality unlike HK & let alone S'pore press

I doubt YesAsia will be selling the Taiwan press of the new PCDL because they will sell the HK press of it

it's different if you're talking about OS presses for Johnny's DVDs / albums / singles though , there's no such thing as HK press for Johnny's

I bought the OS press of Koda Kumi's last tour DVD from YesAsia & it's HK press

i've ordered 1 frm taiwanese website but i'm not sure if it's TW version or HK version...
the price after convert to ringgit malaysia is around RM81++

i was thinking is it i'm worrying too much?i don't really believe that the quality of DVD will be as bad as VCD...hopefully whoever who got their copy of TW version will give some feedbacks.

I'm not buying the new PCDL but I have a few Johnny's DVDs that're made by avex taiwan

I don't know what's your def of VCD quality but I personally have no issues with the quality of the DVD contents & all the Johnny's DVDs that I have , the traditional chinese subtitles are inbuilt already which I don't mind at all (as it benefits me on what I can roughly check on what they talk when comes to MCs & etc) & I didn't check whether can they be switched on/off

I don't know this time round for the new PCDL DVD though

hmm,guess its true that the quality is kinda bad and the subtitle can't be taken off T_T

i'm defining vcd as : not sharp and clear.it is pixelated
dvd : clear and sharp.colours are all nice...not pixelated.even if pixelated,its not as worst as vcd quality

I guess it all boils down to your own preference at the end of the day

for me I always go for OS presses they're much cheaper for me to afford even though now I have decided to stop buying concert DVDs since I have a bad habit of watching a DVD no more than 5 times @_@

okie...guess i need to verify it by myself...
as i saw 1 of the screenshot from another forum.but it is too small which i can't ssee it is pixelated or not...
hopefully it will be be as bad as VCD quality...but they do have a tiny black bar at the top and bottom of the video.maybe its for the subs?

For me, I have all of ayu's DVD in HK Press, and Koda Kumi's DVD in Taiwanese Press, and they are all the same DVD quality to me, and I doubt this PCDL DVD will be bad than before for HK Press, so if you ordered HK Press or Taiwanese Press, and as long is DVD, you don't have to worry too much about the quality.

The VCD versions, of course, feature VCD quality video. Don't worry, as long as you're not buying a bootleg DVD concert, you won't be disappointed.
