It seems like Sunrise is doing great on legal downloads.
Both on iTunes and recochoku, the chaku uta full is #1 weekly for two weeks in a row, the full PV is #1 for three weeks in a row and the chaku uta was #1 weekly as well and it's still on top 3 weekly. I still wonder if the PVs and RBT enter to certain certifications in RIAJ as well. xD

Like I said before: The iTunes charts are CONSTANTLY changing. Daily rankings for iTunes are never posted; what you see on iTunes is what people are just then downloading. I've actually seen the charts change while browsing the iTunes store. Thousands of people are constantly downloading songs at once.

I'm pretty sure Ayu was at some point #1 each of those days, but not for the entire day, just like Noriko Sakai's song. In fact, I'm sure some other songs were also #1 at some point.

Thats very true. And polka, even if they are constantly changing, I still really don't think Ayu was number one those first few days, I really don't. Oh well guess its impossible to know.

I'm surprised and not surprised Sunrise is doing so well. I'm surprised because I thought Japan would eat up Sunset because it's a ballad, but I'm also not surprised because Sunrise is the ultimate summer song; and it IS summer.
