My guess is that if Avex does a marketing strategy unlike Masaharu Fukuyama's label Universal Japan does, maybe Ayu would have an advantage, but this sure (if not most likely) won't work against the major Johnny's artists such as Arashi, KAT-TUN or so...

But she could totally dominate the female artist realm. Look at all the promotion BEST FICTION got. From Namie Amuro, who's career was dead two years previous.
Ayu has all the potential, I just don't get why she doesn't release a "Flavor of Life"....

I suppose "sick" was too strong a word... what I meant was the general public is probably tired of seeing her all the time (back then when she was really everywhere), which most likely resulted in the different marketing/promotion strategy that avex has adapted. She just had a dip in her popularity, like almost every other singer, so I don't see it as a really huge problem.

Like what many of you have said, she still has the POWER to sell so I'm not doubting anything from there.

And I hope the covers would be really good! Ayu has been honest in her diary entries recently (lol, no offense) so I guess the covers would be something really different from what we've been getting since Mirrorcle World~
