If that were the case she wouldn't do the CDTV New Years show either, but she has done that one several times.

No, the CDTV one is live. That is why Ayu usually had an even busier new years night. She'd go from NHK to yoyogi to the CDTV live.

Last year, Namie's performance for it was pre-recorded, but prior to that she was part of the live show.

I'm pretty sure that Namie's performance from last year was pre-recorded (?). The show itself is live though.

^That's what I said. Last years was prerecorded, but every other year she was on the show it has been live.
