She' not screaming for sure. Try singing it..(and hopefully u have a vocal range similar to hers)..then you'll know. It's really emotional though it can be extremely tiring to continuously sing at that note

edit: anyone remember when GREEN was released, we discussed whether she was going to have colours in her songs..

This is a beautiful and flawed song, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I hope the full version lives up to expectations! (unlike Sunrise) Enough of the restraint, prettiness, and pleasant calibration of the last few years. This just might be Ayu at her best. Somewhere inside her there's always been a rock star.

Yep, that's why I've only listened to it twice and have deleted the file. I'll wait till the PV airs to hear it more and give my opinion.

Yes yes yes! I agree with Deli on your post. The "raw" sort of quality this has compared to her latest songs also remind me a lot of I am... Which I love, of course. I'll take a few flaws any day over overly edited, overly perfect sounding vocals.

While I agree that the quality of the song is superb, I don't really get the "I am..." kinda feel from it, the guitars remind of the way Gackt uses them in some of his songs and it's like Ayu's GUILTY work came in touch with Gackt LOST ANGELS (not that the songs are similar in any way), which is good I'm really loving it~
