Bleh, personally like everything so far... Sounds like the title is a little bit too long to be an album.

When I first saw the circus I just thought of a colourful yet simple tour? maybe it’s me.

Everyone will forget about this once they watch the Arena Tour ^_^. Just don’t put your hopes too high. Like many said you’ll be disappointed if your hopes are too high =o. But I like everything so far!

Gambatte Ayu =]

Ayu will always perform a cute/adorable performances in her tours it's how it's usually "structured" or "planned out". Just depends on what song she'll choose for it thats all... Anyways.. looking forward to watching it.

If I suspect something is playback there though, of course I'm going to say it; you couldn't call it a full and accurate review if I intentionally leave it out.
Oh, I just don't want it to be focused on too much. It does have to be mentioned if it seems like that's what's going on, but I think that sometimes in the past, reviews that mention it too much end up becoming debate wars as to whether or she did and so on, haha.

I'm excited.... now that the show an OBVIOUS theme, I hope no one will complain about how it's unoriginal and can't possibly beat the excitement of the My Story 05 tour....
We'll see. (:

it's not original. The rolling stones did a tour/movie years ago with the exact same title. I see left and right "this person used tasking in this song" "that person used her Duty ideas for their pv" but I've yet to see anyone claim ayu copied someone else.

Yes, and like 50 different artists in Japan have had songs called Ai no Uta. What's your point? For the most part, I think that Ayu fans have called her out on things that were similar, like the Celine Dion perfume ad that was similar to CAROLS, and some other things that recently happened. But I think most Ayu fans aren't really big enough party-poopers to simply come into a forum to point out how Ayu has copied X person in X way. You might be an exception, but whatever.

For tasking/taskinst, I swear there were samples used in the creation of those interludes and those people's songs. There's no way you could get the exact same instrumentals without sampling. Poor tasuku~

for tasking, it was probably a generic loop being used by alot of artists. like someone asked a while ago about songs that had a similar "clap rhythm" to independent+ and someone else claimed that where they live they hear that same clapping rhythm all the time in various songs. it's the same with tasking, tasuku probably just sampled a premade loop and featured it in tasking.

My point is "zellyx" claims that no one can complain cause her tour title "rock and roll circus" is completely original when it's really not cause she's not the first one to use it.

Well, it's original for Ayu, which I think was zelly's point.

well I guess i can give him/her? that.

although it really probably doesn't matter what the tour is called cause theres still a 90% chance its gonna involve shuya sex songs, ballad "backup dancers do ballet while she reaches out to them" songs, and my oh so favorite "I'm so not over 30 years old let me don a fairy outfit in pink and act super kawaii desu ne" songs. sigh.

And? I don't really understand what you're trying to do by trying to rain on everyone's parade, but it's not working.

I think this tour might be a bit more theatrical than AT09, and might return to her usual extravagance a la AT05/AT06.

I'm disgusted with the RocknRoll Circus title, if she slips up one more time.. ERRRG i've stuck up for her in many cases with her lacking talent lately, but i'm almost through, i don't know what has happened. but this isn't the Ayumi Hamasaki I became a fan of in 2006.

I just pulled an "Endless Sorrow" and I decided to speak my mind even when I know it's better not to.

In Ayu's defense, for that last part, she doesn't look over 30 at all Seriously, if she can pull it off, (which she can), why shouldn't she?

and? i don't really understand where you're getting the idea that this will be any different from her other concerts. I understand your optomism but it's really not proving that this will be "usual extravagance". I hope it is though because a my story concert is long overdue. >>

Yes things are aggressive... lots of doubt here... :/
I can't bear reading the comments anymore.

in AT09 however, EnergizE has to be one of my -if not THE- favorite performance!

But I do agree, it won't really fit into a Circus theme right! Unless she dresses up like some sort of.. I dunno, candy-girl or something like that, dunno.
I actually LOVED the cute-sy section of AT08. I didn't think the cute section of AT09 was cringe-worthy, but it wasn't really the favorite part of my concert.

I don't mind the cute-sy portions of her concerts. They're there to basically please all the girls in the audience and make them go, "KAWAIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!" I would love for a cute-sy section like the one at AT05. Even AT03-04's was cute, and I wouldn't mind seeing something like that again.

I can't help but wonder if the cute-sy section of CDL09-10 will somehow be "reincarnated" for AT10. She did say that CDL09-10 was like a prelude (or tied-in) with AT10, and her dancers did look very clown-ish-like, which are very important parts of a circus... *shrugs*

I seriously cannot wait to see what Ayu pulls out of her hat for this tour.

lol damn I hate myself for actually LIKING the tour name after a night's sleep! :O

I think it's funky now... hopefully the tour is gonna be equally funky! I would die if she performed a section of 1 LOVE/Marionette/alterna in like a totally circus-esque way... with freaky clowns, tightropes, fire and all omg

EDIT: If the cutesy section of the tour is gonna be anything like the one at Future Classics, then... wow

Lacking talent? I'm not sure if that's the case here... haha. Perhaps she's just not doing things to your tastes lately? You know, I honestly don't think Ayu's changed all that much since 2006. In fact, 2006 was when she started being the way she is now, so I don't really see what's different about her to you.

Why not speak your mind? I suppose people might say "Oh! How dare you! You bad Ayu fan!" but the entire reason why we have a forum in the first place is to have a place for Ayu fans to speak their mind. (Though arguably, some fans of other artists who could care less about Ayu speak their minds about her as well.....)

AHS is the world's biggest drama-producer over a spectacle's name ...
Anyway, I did like the title, and even though it's a bit early to speculate, I kinda relate it to the London wave Ayu's been experiencing, so I expect an interesting setlist rich of diverse songs like alterna, 1 LOVE and lots from the MY STORY and GUILTY eras...
And it would be interesting if she returned to the theaterical kind of show

While I think Ayu's always been a bit of an experimental artist, I think she's been changing her music quite a bit these past few years. GUILTY's such a rock-based album, and she hasn't really done that before. With NEXT LEVEL, she's experimenting with dance and techno and other new things, and, like GUILTY, she hasn't really done that before.

Other changes include being deaf in one ear, and then her going on two tours of Asia and going to Europe to film videos and CMs... lol
