New singles crossroad 9/22 and 「L」 9/29 [VIII]

Sparkle is a hot song. It was on everyone's mind how the PV was going to turn out.

Ayu said herself that she had a specific reason as to why she didnt include the blossom pv in MOON, and we would understand as soon as all 3 singles were out, so wait and we'll find out. As for L only getting 2 pvs, H and A got none so i would be greatful.
Considering in the span of 3 months ayu will have released 6 songs 1 cover and 5 pvs (maybe 6) then i would say she's working pretty dam hard, and whats wrong with waiting 2 months to get the pv of one of the songs, sheesh people should be more greatufl to all that ayu does.

I remember asking when Rule/Sparkle came out about the Japanese reception for Sparkle and I don't think I got an answer. I have a feeling Sparkle is far more liked by us than the Japanese.

I really don't understand why people should just be grateful. Ayumi and everything she does is a product (as she stated herself) and no product is above criticism. Just because Im criticizing something doesn't mean that I don't love her or her music or negate the hundreds of dollars I spent and spend on her merchandise.
If these singles were getting passed out for free as charity then yes we should be grateful but not if I'm paying.

Anyhow I really don't think this is going anywhere. I hope the tracklist is released soon cause this is really annoying. Now to go and cry about not being able to vote on mu-mo.

lol i think it's kinda like the what Japan likes is not what most of us like...~ I remember maikaru saying something before like they thought the lyrics were reli vulgar or smth~~ haha

anyway, I guess I could understand why blossom's PV was delayed; maybe Jaejoong couldn't fit into the schedule for July (he was in LA around there iirc), or maybe she changed her mind to put Jaejoong in/change stuff around?

About one of L's songs lacking a PV, once again we don't have a confirmed tracklist (**** you avex) , so nothing's much confirmed. I would be kinda annoyed if we're missing a PV though cos it's her 1st 3A single in like years and a 50th single at that.

Its pretty obvious re:blossom, but how do you know that Sparkle helped NL's sales?

Sparkle had a negative effect on Next Level if I recall with the Japanese fans, because Sparkle's PV was too shocking. When I was reading on Mixi, yeah there were some who thought it was good, but most thought it was too Lady Gaga like, (yeah again with that phrase), and too shocking and sexual. I know many of you don't think Sparkle's lyrics is sexual, but if you listen to them and the tone of voice, it's really shocking for Japanese listener... my friend who doesn't like Ayu was so shocked by the lyrics when he heard it, "omg... these lyrics... wtf" it was like. ahaha.

I really think American and Western fans like Sparkle much more than the Japanese ones.

Wow, I really don't get what's the deal... people need to be patient, and we don't know what she planned for us. There will obviously be another single right after the 50th single, or maybe even an album. When crossroad is released, maybe then she will release the tracklist so it can be a surprise or so, or the photoshoots. It's like a celebration~ Just treat it like that~ It's not like you're going to die because you don't know the tracklist yet LOL.

And nothing's gonna be sold out... -_-) let's just calm down and be patient.

Maybe they sang "No no no," because it's really catchy, but outside of that, many of the people hated the PV, like I said before in my post.


EDIT: Also, we have to remember, the CD and DVD contents are always subject to change, like the disclaimer says, so we still might get the 3rd PV... just let's wait~

they ignore/don't like the really good stuff sometimes. it sucks. i'm still bitter at them for not liking kumi's TABOO which is like one of her best songs ever. bleh.

You know a lot of people complain that her singles don't push the limit anymore, but I am a firm believer that this is why lol. She saves her experimental songs for the album and puts out safe singles. People accuse of this all the time but it is clear why, the Japanese have bad/generic taste LOL j/k.

i think a lot of the time they do like the more generic stuff.. like Days more than GREEN. and then meaning of Love did the best digitally out of the album tracks on RnRC iirc

I have a feeling the L tracklist will contain something special that'd create a hype.. It's being kept secret for so long!

Maybe one of the remixes will be a good old Eurobeat or Trance remix (I WOULD DIE ), or even better.. HANABI ~Episode III~

Yeah it did! It's probably still charting! That's why so many generic artists are super popular right now. But none of the one-hit wonders past or present show Ayu's staying power.

Lol someone said ayu still treated herself as some lifeless product. Yeah I thought she thought of herself a lot more positively now. O.O
On another note I'm sure ayu could release a 5A sinlge and leave one song without a pv and still wil be unhappy fans.

Also fans are always different everywhere. I used to like Sparkle more than RULE but now RULE is my fav. Powerful fun and still great inspiring lyrics.
But I mean. I'd imagine many western fans liking something like Sparkle more.

Also I don't mind not having L covers. But I only wish to just know what the songs are and the full tracklist. Like please.

crossroad is of course a ballad too but Koda's is a double A with a re-make of an old song + 3 PVs so it's definitely competition... But I wonder to what lengths Avex will go to protect Ayu's streak.

Maybe they'll send someone to buy 10,000 copies of crossroad on the first day.

I just want it all to be over with.
