Trance is definitely more melodic than most forms of electronic music, but house is much more than beeping. Awesome basslines and synths. I personally find house to be much more dance worthy than trance, though I like both and am totally pumped for this album.

Basslines

Trance is very energetic. The genre literally can put me in a trance while listening. Dubstep is extremely creative and amazing to listen to with a good speaker system as well.

Am I the only one who can't stand trance music? D: I tried to listen to an Ayu-trance, but after few songs I had a big headache lol.
Don't get me wrong, I like electronic music. But I don't find anything melodic or emotional with trance music, sorry

When I listen to Ayu Trance, or just connected I really understand the melodic/emotional part of it. I think thats what made me love connected so much, I think the chorus is full of emotion

Seriously, the bittersweet emotion in these songs is unbelievable!

Sorry if this is straying off-topic but if this doesn't make you fall in love with trance, idk what will! Give it a chance! You won't regret it!

For me, most of the many ayu trance remixes are extremely emotional, melancholic, upbeating, happy or just making me feel jumping all around xD

I absolutely recommend you to give it another try!

I completely agree about preferring edm with melody and emotion. IMO electro/nu-disco/french house has those qualities too.

I can't stand a lot of old singles remixes. And there is so many of them, so it's hard to catch something goood...

but Trance is one of the melodical electronic music i know. I think each of her Trance remix got emotion, power and similar melodie to original track. and the BASS.

still working on it. I believe it, it's no easy thing to remix something. Atleast this proves to people that it takes more than a few minutes to make a remix.
