It was two albums containing her actual best songs (not just singles) spanning from I am... to (m)u (if I remember correctly), so if you missed one or two albums, you could have a physical copy of the better songs. And the only saving grace for Utada's best album was the second disc, which, as someone pointed out, could have easily been a mini-album even with the same amount of new songs. The cover was a disgrace and the charm was a joke. I'm sorry if that sounds harsh, I really don't mean to be. But that release just showed how badly she wanted to get it all over with and go on hiatus. At least in my opinion. Thankfully, she had the guts to stand up against an even worse release, the English compilation. I respect her for that. But I can't see either release as worth the money to be honest.

Yeah, I agree with all of that include the utada stuff. I also wanted to add that her first best wasn't that great either.

But I like compilations, if I only have room on my ipod for 1 album of an artist, chances are I'm gonna go for the best since it has all the hits/singles.
