Princess of China is nice but it didn't blow me away the way Every Teardrop did, which is crazy because it's two of my favorite mainstream acts uniting that I'd never expect to collaborate together.

Noo, I don't think anyone held anything against you It's more the people at Last FM and Youtube who are just..waayyy over the top about it...lol. I was a little tentative about how it'd work out, but I was pleasantly surprised. Not the best track on the album, but definitely getting the most hype because of Rihanna's name

I really love the album, another masterpiece in my opinion. stan mode

I gave the album another go round and I personally enjoy the album much more than "Viva La Vida" as it was underwhelming to me. As much as I adore Coldplay, "Mylo Xyloto" still did not captivate me the way their earlier works did (the same can be said of many artists), but It's still a great quality release nonetheless. I definitely hear elements from their previous works being used on this album.

I'm sorry to bump this thread up, but I just gotta say this...Coldplay has just further solidified themselves as the most amazing band ever in my book. I just saw them live last Friday, and it was so surreal. They sounded fantastic and the show over all was just so amazing, and well done! Their music sounded so heavy and rocking...in fact, I would go as far to say that Mylo Xyloto was made to be played live. Listening to it on my iPod just does not give it any justice compared to hearing and seeing it performed in person. Even the opening bands, The Pierces and Metronomy, were in really good taste, in fact I'm gonna look them up on iTunes .

I know this is gonna sound stupid but I almost broke into tears when they came out. I've waited 10 years to see them live (just never had the money or time ), and then there they were. Plus, we had been given these wristbands that lit up and flashed different colors...it was so beautiful! It looked like the entire crowd was sparkling. It was just a wonderful feeling, and I wish I could see them again. Gah! Coldplay!!! Please don't take another 3 years to release a new album

D'aw! I would've cried too...Glad you finally got to see them!

My little sister is watching them in Denmark in June this year. I am SO jealous. I have heard only good things about Coldplay live .

With all of the new albums that came out last year, I feel like I didn't get to really, properly listen to MX. But I still think it's an amazing album, though it doesn't come close to my favorite, X&Y.

MX is an amazing album but it didn't leave much impression on me. Although I completely adore Paradise.
