After listening to it again, I was wondering if the 3rd line of para 1 could be "あかりをつけなくちゃって" instead, like without the tiny っ? So it's like she's thinking to herself about turning on the lights.. So changed my translation a little to fit this, do tell me what you think.. ^^;

^ Hmm it's possible. Makes more sense that way too. She does pronounce the doubled consonant but she tends to do that even when there's no っ
