Kis-My-Ft2's 1st single collection album tops Oricon weekly ranking

Popular group Kis-My-Ft2's first single collection album "HIT! HIT! HIT!" (released on March 26) topped Oricon's latest weekly ranking within the first week of its release, selling 218,000 copies.

This marked their third consecutive chart-topping album since the first one "Kis-My-1st" (released in March 2012). Including both male/female group/solo categories, no one has topped the album chart 3 consecutive times since Superfly last achieved it 3 years and 7 months ago. For the male group, this is the first time in 5 years and 10 months since KAT-TUN back in 2008.

"HIT! HIT! HIT!" contains the group's previous 14 singles from their debut song "Everybody Go" (released August 2011) to "SNOW DOME no Yakusoku / Luv Sick" (November 2013).

Kis-My-Ft2 to kick off their new 'Journey' with a 3rd album

It's been revealed that Kis-My-Ft2 will release a new album, tentatively titled "Kis-My-Journey", on July 2.

Kis-My-Ft2's new album will be available for purchase in 4 different versions: Limited Edition A, Limited Edition B, Regular Edition, and KisMy SHOP Edition. Limited Editions A & B will come with a DVD each containing different material, while Regular Edition will come with a bonus track.

The tracklist will consist of "Hikari no Signal" which was the theme song for the latest 'Doraemon' movie, "3.6.5" which was the CM song for DHC's 'Yakuyou Acne Control Series', "Daisuki Desu" which was the CM song for Glico's 'Watering Kissmint Gum', and Busaiku's debut song "Tana Kara Botanmochi".

Kis-My-Ft2 to hold their 1st tour of 4 major domes

7-member group from Johnny & Associates Inc., Kis-My-Ft2, will hold their 4 major dome tour "2014 Concert Tour 'Kis-My-Journey'" starting in July.

As it has only been 2 years and 11 months since their debut, they hold the record of being the fastest to hold the 4 major dome tour as a male artist.

The group will make stops in Nagoya, Osaka, Fukuoka, and Tokyo with 10 stages in total, and it is expected that 460,000 people will attend the tour.

Member Kitayama Hiromitsu happily said, "To hold the dome tour was my dream since my Johnny's Jr. days, and I did not expect for it to come true this fast." Fellow member Tamamori Yuta also commented, "I feel pressure, but I want our fans to enjoy, and we also want to fully enjoy the tour."

Prior to the tour, they will release their 3rd album "Kis-My-Journey" on July 2.

Kis-My-Ft2 have revealed the track list for their third album "Kis-My-Journey", which will be released on July 2.

The album will feature 13 tracks including the lead song "Seven Journey", which is written and composed by Kimaguren, their cool and comical number "3.6.5", and "Tana Kara Botanmochi" by the band's sub-unit Busaiku.
