I love Sweetbox. I have all the Japanese releases of their albums with Jade.

Hey, I download 'Everything's gonna be alright' from Ares, but it wasn't the Sweetbox I know, it was a coloured woman, also called Sweetbox.
Anyone know more about this?
Does anyone else think a lot of her songs sound disantly like other songs?
I can't put my finger on what Chyna Girl reminds me of... But I love that song

That's the original version by Tina Harris, the lead singer before Jade.
No, not all of their songs sound like other songs.

Sweetbox has had a few different female singers, Jade is the current and longest one. The one in that song was Tina. Jade covered this song on the Greatest Hits album.

Chinese girl group S.H.E use a few of Sweetbox's music in their songs (Like Ayu used a few of Sweetbox's), and in the song 'Super Star' they have the same music as 'Chyna Girl'. Maybe that's where you heard it from before? Sweetbox also use many Classical samples and mix them in with their songs.

EDIT: You beat me to it while I was looking for that S.H.E song lol!

Little question... Can someone put a list of all the songs they have covered? And songs they have and other artist have too (like "B&D", "Ladies Night...")?

News: I'll be uploading the single tomorrow sorry for the delay I'm so slow. XD Hehe. So glad lots of people are chatting in this thread it rawks. Sweetbox rule!

Um one of the songs I can tell you Sweetbox have covered is 'Stay' by Shakespeare Sister. I prefer the original because it was the very first song I herd (By that I mean the very first song I was exposed to in my life. LOL.) but it's a nice softer version.

Jade also sang A Whole New World, Always on My Mind, 1000 Words, Real Emotion, Merry X-Mas, O Come All Ye Faithful, and Silent Night.
As for other artists covering, I know of Ayu and S.H.E. S.H.E. has done Chyna Girl(Superstar) and More than Love(Wo Ai Ni) as far as I know.

You're probably right, it's mostly the violin bits that make me think 'wait... haven't I heard this before'? :p
Could anyone please upload 1,000 words and real emotion from Adagio (what exactly does that mean?)? I can only find the ones ripped from the game (shorter Real Emotion, and shorter 1,000 Words with thunder noises and Yuna and lenne talking over it!)

Adagio is a tempo in music. It's slower than Adante(moderately slow) but definitely than Largo(slow and prolonging).
I will upload 1000 Words and Real Emotion.

S.H.E. covered these songs as well:
Superstar
That Night
Everytime

Someone said a while back that Superstar was actually a composition that GEO gave to S.H.E. then used for Sweetbox as well. Probably the same situation as the (m)u songs..
