[MU] Special Interview 2004-04-12 NTV.avi
If that's the one that shows Ayu visiting Fukuoka with the filming crew (I've heard there are two NTV interviews), then there's nothing about any CDL in it. It's about Dome Tour 2001.

During CDL02-03 she had a cold/flu, resulting in inflammed throat and probably fever what affected her singing.

During Dome Tour 2001 (before Fukuoka concert) she started having trouble with her hearing in the left ear. She also fell into a hole in the stage and injured her leg.

There's one that's called an interview (NTV Special Interview), from 2004, and one that's a special report from 2000 (NTV Special Report).

I don't know which one is about what.

The 2004 Interview focuses a lot on Dome Tour 2001 only. Still educational to watch though, I'd recommend it to any fan.

but my friend who works in japan says she can reach high notes... maybe it's not a consistent ability.

Your friend in Japans opinion has about as much value to me as my own, and I don't even have any, because I'm certainly not a professional on this.

I listen to it and judge if I like it or not.

I'd love if anyone who's a professional singer, or knows about this kind of stuff, could make a statement on the matter, so that we know. I think her notes are... pretty high most of the time, heh.

immel: Thanks for the interview link. It's just so amazing what a strong woman she is. And very touching indeed.

Well obviously it's not from the NTV 2000 special since both of the events in question occured after that year.

In the NTV 2004 special, it only talks about the Dome Tour 2001.

immel, it doesn't matter. The interview is just amazing!!! You could really cry! But you need to edit the .ssa file though, if not it won't work with vsfilter.
