Does ayu have a song where someone left her?
Is there an ayu song where she was left (like dumped) and not her dumping someone else and being upset?

yeah, isn't it obvious?
talkin 2' myself duh. lololol. why else would she be "talkin'" to herself? because all her friends died? no. never. ![]() But on a serious note, Beautiful Fighters is about her getting dumped >] |

is talkin' 2 myself really about being broken up with? if so Ill have to read the lyrics. anyways I notice a lot of her songs about breakups is her breaking up with the person but yeah any more songs anyone knows would be welcomed
I think far away would be counted as one, no? Last edited by devilayu; 20th September 2007 at 09:12 PM. |

i don't think she had an actual song where SHE dumped anyone, much less anyone dumping her
actually, that is an interesting question. i'd have to find out about it... i know memorial address was about her grandmother leaving her and i think a song for avex was about her mother/father (not sure if it was both) |

Memorial address
but you may be talking about a different kind of "leaving." Quote:

Plus, it semmed her and her grandma where really close. why would she say "I wish i could ahve heard from you, that I had certainly been loved by you, only once, even if it had been a lie". If she was as close to her grandma as everything seems to portray, i;d imagine her grandma would have said "i love you" once in all those years they were together. other than all that, her dad "dissapeared" on unknown terms. I know this is a longshot, but this is the only possible explanation to me. Now, since Ayumi's dad left while she was young, she wouldnt receive a phonecalll personally about him. So, maybe before Ayumi wrote the song (in late 2002-early 2003) Ayumi's dad actually died. Maybe her mom, or the police or whoever called to tell her. And since she dosent remember him really, she wouldnt ever remember him saying "I love you", now would she? And of course she is going to feel a numbing sorrow because of the death of her father. anyway its all theory. so is the idea of her grandma. but to me - it just dosent make any sense. explain on why you think this. where do you think she is trying to stop someone from leaving or talking about the thought of having the power to stop someone from leaving

I think "Two of Us" and "WHATEVER" are good examples of being left. ayu has more songs about being left by someone than leaving someone.
And there're also "SCAR", "Over", "GAME" and - to an extent? - "Because of You" (because it is connected with "GAME"). The last three are based on experiences of ayus friends, though.

As far as I remember, in HANABI ~episode II~, she is more or less reflecting on the previous summer where she is with said person. |

teddy bear SEEMS to be about her dad leaving her, but of course, no one is 100% sure. And SEASONS seems to be about a friend she has lost.

[quote]How about your dad?
I have no idea. I don't even know if he's dead or alive. He left when I was so young, I barely remember him. Your song Teddy Bear is about your loneliness at that time. I didn't understand my loneliness until I moved to Tokyo. I moved at 14. I came alone, without Mommy. She came later. [quote] its vague haha. her answers are always vague though. i geuss she's trying to avoid the question, which means "yes" XD anyway, here's the source. http://www.time.com/time/asia/featur...nt_ayumi2.html |
