You guys are thinking waaaay too much into this! LOL The blue bird, as previously mentioned, is a symbol of happiness and love. It's used in weddings a lot: "the bluebird of happiness."

i sort of agree with this opinion...the bird as such can symbolize something that is free and the image of blue color refers to the image of sky...in my view. So put together, there is probably a reference to a love that is free and can overcome anything with lightness as a bird can fly up to the sky? haha, don't know...just my wild imagination.

XD I don't think Ayu will go and search and write about some bird that signifies something that had a deep meaning. Just read the lyrics, they're actually very relevant to the title.
