My take~

*there's no proper noun in the last sentence. Could be you, could be I. But I'm guessing it's you.



Ps I try not to take any artistic liberties with lyrics because I don't consider myself a lyricist (or poet) in English, let alone Japanese. So my translations might be a little too straight forward.

I LOVE your take on it; i would just change the last middle bit to "Don't smile at me with those cold eyes", or with a cold stare--笑わないで is a negative imperative.
